Ceramic Sculpture

The following pieces are really the beginning of my creative process. "Ceramics, the world's most fascinating hobby," was a bumper sticker I saw once and laughed, but ceramics changed my life and opened up the door to the creative process. These pieces represent just a few of the directions I became involved in while working in clay. At this time, I began to combine other materials such as paint, zippers, leather, wood and plastic into the composition. The group projects came about while I was teaching at the college level.
